Here’s a bit about me: I am in my mid twenties and teach English in a small town in Cambridgeshire in the UK. I only recently moved here from New Zealand with my husband Pete but am loving the travels and adventures we are having. The city we live in now, Ely, is like something out of a book, it’s beautiful.
Obviously I love books! The main genre I read and review is YA fiction. I’m passionate about young people reading and one of the best parts of my job is being able to read, recommend and discuss books with teenagers.

I’m also a big fan of historical fiction and fantasy so you’ll find that I review a bit of that too. I also make an effort to read and review books that are being made into movies because I know people always want to know – Should I read the book first? And I love being able to answer that question.
My other hobbies and interests mainly include anything that involves being creative and making things – quilts, clothes, bunting etc. I love tea, stationery, second hand shops, baking,
and music and television and movies but mostly I love spending time with my friends and family.

Book reviewing is something I really value doing and my goal is to post at least one review a week, hopefully on Mondays. I sometimes receive advance reader copies through netgalley and eidelweiss so sometimes you might see a book on here that isn’t yet published. Hopefully more and more so! I have a busy schedule as a high school teacher but this blog is something I’ll prioritize.
